Description Among the 130 boats registered at the Grand Prix of the naval college, 13 teams are part of the new 6.50 class, made of the Mach 6.50, the K650 and the Open 6.50. This class was developed at the beginning of the season, in order to create a process around a Championship gathering the Spi West France, the Grand Prix of the naval college and the 6.50 Contest in Saint Philibert. Class rules supervise the new fleet. An original way to develop the fame of these 3 new sportboats. Being a major race for the european one-design boats, it was natural to register the Grand Prix to the calendar of the 6.50 class, and to find again a teacher-researcher of the naval college on board one of the boats. Portrait of the day : Patrick Bot, teacher-researcher. |
