Description The Maxi trimaran Banque Populaire V, while attempting the north Atlantic record since Thursday 30 July 00 h 47 minutes (French hour), hast just accomplished an incrdible performance, beating the record of the most covered distance in 24h, meaning 907 miles in 24h. Since that, the speed of the maxi sailing ship record keeps increasing. Pascal Bidégorry and his 11 men are sailing at 45.4 knots, that is 84.08 km/h ! |
