Description Sailing out of the maze of the Aegean Sea's islands is a difficult task, and it's been more than 24 hours that the sailors of the Istanbul Europa Race are experiencing. Submitted to the continuous disrupted areas under the wind, generated by the lands, all are "in the same boat" and they can get trapped. If that phenomenon, inherent in sailing close to the Peloponnese, has the advantage to give a bit of spice to the story, ofr the sailors it is more a source of tension. Nights are marked by uncertainty, and the rankings in the morning bring satisfaction for some and disillusions for the others, reminding the ingratitude as much as the magic of thoses places. About a thousand miles from the arrival, Kito de Pavant is leading but he knows how fragile it is... |
