Description After the last efforts, Octo Finances crossed the arrival line at 2:03:55 pm, under the applause and the cheers of their wives, their children and the numerous friends who supported them. 3,628 miles covered, 8.7 average knots, 1 damaged float, a few wounds that soon will be cured, 1 play-Monil as team-mate, and a constant humour that they kept and shared all along the crossing. At the pontoon of the sailing city, Norbert Métairie, President of Cap L'Orient, reception country and Arnaud De Bourrousse, President and founder of Octo Finances, were there to give them the traditional champain bottle under the applause of the numerous inhabitants of Lorient. |
