Istanbul Europa Race 2009 09/14/2009 : Departure from Barcelona

Description At 12:08, as it was planned by the race instructions, the committe liberated the fleet of the Istanbul Europa Race for the final assault. From Barcelona to Brest, the story is about to be written with a certain number of protagonists. With three teams equally placed at the head of the ranking before the last act, the Mediterranean sea, the Straits of Gibraltar, the Bay of Biscay and the Iroise sea as playing fields, the screenplay is already attractive in every way. To give a bit of spice to the game, the head of the race reserve the right to change the rest of the circuit after the boats' passage via a gate off Camaret. According to the wind, the circuit could be direct to Brest or take a way through Wolf Rock or the famous lighthouse of Fastnet. The surprises promise to be numerous and they will surely put a beautiful end to this first Istanbul Europa Race. Since then, six teams have to compete, for the best ! |
