Description Dunkirk and its Flanders'Dunes are widely famous in the world as an ideal place to practise gliding sports, and notably kitesurfing. The Dunkirk Kitesurf Pro is in the tradition of the other races that gave the city its reputation. The man-made lake of the Rotonde du Kursaal converted into a real nautical stadium is one of the must in this field. Created in 1999, the Dunkirk Kitesurf Pro has since begun famous in the kitesurfing world. Since the passage of the best kiteboarders in the world in 1999, 2000 and 2007, the image of the best spot of the North for nautical activities was spread on a national, european, and international level, by the participants and the TV shows in more than 300 countries. |
