Transat Jacques Vabre 2009 :departure of the singlehulls
|
Description The conditions gave a curious departure with a less than 10 knots wind. The singlehulls 60 feet left at 2:30 pm with a bright blue sky. All the boats left with the mainsail and some under spinnaker like Michel Desjoyeaux and Jérémie Beyou on Foncia or Mike Golding and Javier Sanso on Mike Golding Yacht Racing. The best departure in this category was taken by Marc Guillemot and Charles Caudrelier on Safran. |
