Description New Caledonia is recognized by the international community as a sensitive point of the Earth, talking about biodiversity of the terrestrial environment. The service unit "Terrestrial biodiversity and environment in the tropical Pacific" (ENBIOPAC) mobilizes and coordinates the human means and the necessary furniture to the IRD to bring a response to the local question of research, expertise and consultation, regarding the protection of the environment and the promotion of the living natural resources. |
