The titleholder and recordman of the race (87 days) has a faultless performance in the Vendée Globe until today : he was a technical coordinator of the 2000 winner Michel Desjoyeaux PRB, and above all the skipper of this same PRB in 2004, which he lead to the implacable victory that we know. That's why Jean Le Cam has saddled him with the nickname of "Vincent the Terrible". |
