Diving with Contact lenses

Can i dive with contact lenses ?

I dove with soft astigmatic contact lenses for many years until I underwent lasik surgery. The only caution is to prevent a mask squeeze - if you get one your contacts leave a nice round brise on your eye. It doesn't hurt but it looks like a halloween monster.
