Lago Trasimeno

Lago Trasimeno

Hi,

It looks like I'll be visiting a friend who has rented a villa in Sant'Andrea
in Italy. He's got it for 8 weeks, 16 May to 11 July.

It's about 4 miles from Castiglione del Lago, on the shores of Lake Trasimeno.

This lake is known to have windsurfing. Does anyone on have any advice as to
when it is most likely to be windy, or other information about windsurfing there?
I'm likely to visit for a week.

Thanks.

You're most likely to have very light winds.
Winds in Italy are mostly local thernal winds, such as Lake Garda,
Talamone etc.
No thermal acceleration -> no planing at all.
